The Cathance Children's Center is committed to providing nurturing childcare and a developmentally supportive early education environment where children come to play and learn in a safe and inclusive setting.
Our philosophy on early learning is rooted in the knowledge that children learn best where hands-on participation is supported in activities that address the developmental needs of the whole child. Our programming is designed to promote optimal development of the five developmental domains — cognitive and critical thinking skills, languauge and communication, social / emotional development, and fine and gross motor skills advancement in a balance of child-initiated, open-ended, imaginative play offered in tandem with teacher-facilitated, process-oriented activities.
